Help Me Help These Women!

I love these women! Aren't they
beautiful? What we see in their faces
goes far beyond external beauty. It is
the radiance of their souls shining
through with the love and
hope of Christ.

What isn't apparent is that many of
them are from the lowest caste of
people in India--the Dalit. Not only
are they discriminated against because
of their gender. These women, being
desperately poor and from the
"untouchable" Dalit class are
triple-cursed.

Sisters In Service is an outstanding
Christian relief agency committed to
serving the needs of the most at-risk
human beings in our world--
women and children.

Together with Sisters In Service, I
have a personal goal of raising funds
for 20 women to participate in a
Transformation Group this year.
These groups provide women with
female comaraderie, spiritual nurture,
as well as micro-loans, job skills
training and health education to lift
their spirits and lives from the clutches
of povery and despair.
Would you be
willing to help me help these
women?
